$10K in purse money and prizes, the US Wind & Water Open features the US Windsurfing Regatta, the US
Kiteboarding Open, the USWWO Expo, & the USWWO 5K Run ($1200 Purse). The US Wind & Water Open,
formerly the Velocity Games, is an international favorite to both the competitors & the spectators.
Over the past 20 years, the national events have evolved from a local weekend outing into an international
