beautiful downtown Corpus Christi, Texas. Our team of experts can create an epic event for your organization

At Epic, we execute & deliver top-notch events! Our events include, The US Wind & Water Open (formerly
Velocity Games), which features the US Wind Surfing Regatta, the US Kiteboarding Open & the USWWO 5K
run. The USWWO 5K is the official warm-up run for the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon. Competitors from all over
the world travel to Corpus Christi, Texas, which is known for high winds & warm waters, to participate in the US
Wind & Water Open for a chance to showcase their talents in extreme water sports to the world. Watch the

Epic serves as the management firm for the 2008 NuStar Conquer the Coast™ cycling event. Conquer the
Coast (CTC) features a 65 Mile Ride which encompasses the Corpus Christi Bay including: a beautiful sunrise
climb over the Harbor Bridge, a route through the coastal communities and fishing villages of Portland,
Ingleside, Aransas Pass, & Port Aransas, a ferry ride across the intercoastal canal, a scenic cruise down Padre
Island crossing over the JFK Causeway, a tour through Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi & a bike friendly path
down Ocean Drive. Proceeds from the event benefit the Tarpon Foundation, which provides scholarships for
the TAMU-CC Islander Athletics program, & the Chamber Foundation. As the 5th Annual NuStar Conquer the
Coast™ approaches, the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce & Epic have focused on strengthening the
event to attract more cyclists from around the state, the country, & from Mexico. The ride also hosts a 25 mile
fun ride along Shoreline Blvd. & Ocean Drive. Conquer the Coast attracts over 2500 cyclists & spectators.
January 3, 2009 -Epic kicks off the new year with the Oso Creek 5k Run, Walk & Stroller Push. The Oso Creek
5k host a 2 mile run for children 9 & under for a chance to win cool prizes from the Corpus Christi Hooks
Baseball Team! The Oso Creek 5K Run is an intellectual property of Epic.
